The Wellbeing Framework:
A Practical Route to Healthier, High-Performing Schools
The Wellbeing Framework provides an evidence-based approach to support schools to diagnose what is driving stress and impacting on staff wellbeing. Grounded in organisational psychology, and aligned with the HSE Management Standards, this workshop gives leaders a practical way to strengthen culture and protect staff wellbeing at every level.
The Impact:
-
Gain a clear picture of what’s really driving stress in your school
-
Apply evidence-informed strategies tailored to your context
-
Build confidence in meeting your responsibilities while supporting staff wellbeing
-
Embed simple, sustainable practices that strengthen resilience and culture
-
Create the conditions for healthier staff and more effective schools
How It Works:
This interactive 90 minute session is designed for up to middle or senior leaders and can be delivered either face-to-face or online. The session guides leaders through a structured process to diagnose stress drivers, focus staff voice, and co-create practical solutions. The outcome is a shared responsibility for wellbeing that strengthens trust, resilience, and culture — creating the conditions for pupils to thrive.
“Since introducing the framework, wellbeing leads in each of our schools have provided overwhelmingly positive feedback. They have highlighted how the structure enables teams to collaborate effectively on problem‑solving, identify immediate actions, and plan for longer‑term improvements. Staff have expressed that they feel heard and reassured, particularly as they see their actions beginning to make a tangible difference.” – Janette Gaffney, Leadership Development Officer
